My Story
Art in the traditional sense was never something I engaged much. I was more interested in physical art in the form of cars and motorcycles. My brother was the artist in the family, drawing and painting since he was little. In my late 30’s, I picked up Walter Isaacson’s book on Leonardo Da Vinci. While reading, I had this feeling, “I think I can paint”.
I first started on my iPad with a program called Art Set 4. It turned out really nice and I was pleasantly surprised. Not to mention how enjoyable it was. After creating a few more digital paintings, my brother said to try it for real. He helped me get started with oil and acrylic paints on canvas.
I began visiting museums and discovered many world famous artists. A few of my favorites are Jean-Michel Basquiat, Cy Twombly, Mark Rothko and Alberto Giacometti. I also discovered Banksy, which led me into the world of stencil art.
My body of work now includes digital paintings using either pixel or vector. And physical paintings using oil, acrylic or spray paint on canvas. Sometimes I use a combination of all three. Please browse my artwork gallery page and I hope you enjoy!
