After discovering the band Angine de Poitrine in early 2026, I immediately fell in love with their music. Khn playing his unique double guitar/bass would make a great stencil painting, but halfway through the design process, I decided to keep it strictly digital. That allowed me to be more creative and detailed.
Johnny Madrid
One of my all-time favorite movies, Once Upon a Time . . . in Hollywood. Timothy Olyphant played the character Johnny Madrid. I created this vector illustration based on a photo by Andrew Cooper in the fantastic new book titled, “The Making of Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”.

Getty Architecture
During the summer of 2024, I visited The Getty Center art museum in Los Angeles. I thought unique architecture would make a really cool stencil painting. This piece is based on the structure where people enter and exit the tram at the museum entrance.
Through the Mountains
During spring of 2023, my brother and I drove to the Tehachapi Mountains in Southern California to see some trains. I took this photo of BNSF 5533 heading into a tunnel. This is a digital vector design and I painted a 1 of 1 piece on canvas.
Southern Pacific
Based on a pixel outline computer drawing by Michael Eby of Trainiax. I created a vector version, added colors and additional details before cutting custom stencils and using spray paint on canvas. The canvas version is 1 of 1.
Wave
This piece was a commission with the simple request of a wave as the subject. It’s one of my first oil paintings and was a big effort considering it’s six feet wide by four feet tall.
